Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on the 19th of November, 1959 in America is an American actor. With a professional career that spans three decades, she is recognized for her work in different genres of screen and stage. Janney was awarded various awards, including the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award as well as the Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to being nominated for the two Tony Awards. Janney was born in Boston as a child, but was raised at home in Dayton (Ohio). Janney was awarded a scholarship to studying at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art following her graduation from Kenyon College. Janney began her TV debut in 1999, playing C. J. Cregg who played the character in NBC's drama series The West Wing (2000-2006). She received four Primetime Emmy Awards for this part.
